This Privacy Policy explains how LoadLess: Speed Optimizer (“the App”) collects, uses, stores, and deletes data when merchants install and use the App on Shopify.

2) Data We Collect

Merchant/App Configuration Data

• Shop domain and app installation/session identifiers
• Plan/subscription state (Starter/Growth/Pro)
• Script rules and optimization settings
• Theme embed configuration state

Storefront Performance Data

• Core Web Vitals and timing metrics (for example, LCP/CLS/INP/FCP/TTFB)
• Script URL observations and loading behavior
• Page/template path and technical context (device class, browser context)

Data We Do Not Collect

• No shopper names, emails, phone numbers, or payment card data
• No order contents or checkout payment credentials
• No merchant account passwords

3) Why We Process Data

We process data to:

• Provide performance dashboards and script inventory
• Apply and evaluate optimization rules
• Monitor storefront performance trends
• Provide support and troubleshoot app issues

4) Shopify API Access

The App requests only required scopes:

• read_products
• read_script_tags
• read_themes

5) Legal Basis / Consent

Where applicable, processing is based on:

• Performance of contract (providing app functionality)
• Legitimate interests (service reliability, abuse prevention, analytics)
• Consent-dependent behaviors where configured by merchant (for example, consent-gated script rules)

6) Sharing and Subprocessors

We may use service providers to operate the App (for example hosting/database and optional analytics/AI features). We do not sell personal data.

7) Data Retention and Deletion

We retain data only as long as needed for app functionality and legal obligations.
On app/uninstalled and required compliance webhooks (including shop/redact), shop-scoped data is deleted according to Shopify requirements.

8) Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and least-privilege principles.

9) International Transfers

If data is processed outside your jurisdiction, we apply appropriate safeguards required by applicable law.

10) Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, merchants and data subjects may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection.
