Checkout Gateflow (“Checkout Gateflow,” “we,” “our,” or “the App”) helps Shopify merchants configure checkout rules for shipping, payment, validation, and discounts.
1. Information We Collect
When you install and use Checkout Gateflow, we may collect and process:
- Shopify store information: Your store domain and Shopify OAuth/session information required to authenticate and operate the App.
- App configuration: Rule names, conditions, actions, and other configuration settings you create within Checkout Gateflow.
- Billing information: Information necessary to identify your subscription and plan through Shopify Billing. We do not receive or store your payment-card details for Shopify Billing transactions.
- Basic application activity: Operational logs, such as when rules are created, updated, synchronized, or removed.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
Checkout Gateflow does not collect or store customer payment-card information.
Checkout Gateflow uses Shopify Functions to evaluate configured rules during checkout. We do not receive checkout execution counts, individual checkout events, or customer purchase history from Shopify Function executions.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Authenticate and operate Checkout Gateflow for your Shopify store.
- Store and manage your checkout-rule configuration.
- Synchronize your configured rules with Shopify checkout functions.
- Manage your subscription and app plan through Shopify Billing.
- Provide technical support.
- Monitor and improve the reliability and functionality of the App.
- Detect and troubleshoot technical issues.
We do not sell merchant or customer information to third parties.
4. Shopify Data
Checkout Gateflow operates as a Shopify application and may access Shopify data only to the extent necessary to provide the App’s functionality.
Our use of Shopify merchant and customer-related information is subject to Shopify’s requirements and applicable privacy laws.
Checkout Gateflow does not use customer payment information for advertising, profiling, or unrelated marketing purposes.
5. Data Storage and Third-Party Services
Checkout Gateflow uses third-party infrastructure and services necessary to operate the App, which may include Shopify and cloud hosting/service providers.
Our application backend is hosted using Railway infrastructure. Data processed by these services is used only as necessary to provide and maintain the App.
We take reasonable measures to protect stored information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain merchant data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Checkout Gateflow and fulfill legitimate operational, legal, and security requirements.
When you uninstall Checkout Gateflow, we process Shopify’s mandatory privacy and data-deletion webhooks and delete applicable store data from our application database.
You may also contact us at any time to request deletion of your data.
Certain information may need to be retained where required by law or for legitimate security, fraud-prevention, or accounting purposes.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed by Checkout Gateflow.
However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request access, correction, or deletion.
